avi, and it too is competing with XP for CPU resources and, to a degree, possibly disk access, depending upon your setup. Long ago, I tried one called HyperCam from Hyperionics.

A variety of screen capture apps are out there via a quick Google search, some free, some paid, all with their own advantages and disadvantages. Personally, I'd completely uninstall it ASAP!Īlthough no longer supported, Quicktime for Windows should still do it, but there are better alternatives. It's a resource hog, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. However, I would not use GFE if you paid me. Is there another software I should be using to capture that might achieve this? OBS? What I want to do is to be able to capture just the window that the x-plane flight is open in but still keep my Map and x-camera open on a second monitory. Which means if I want to capture the flight, I have to have x-camera and Map closed so that GE only captures the one window. When I record the playback with Geforce Exp, Geforce Experience tries to capture all the windows so the result is kind of a flickering mess. I have x-plane in it's own window, not full screen. And I usually will have x-camera or the x-plane Map opened on a second monitor.

To those of you who capture your replay, is it possible to ONLY record the window that the x-plane flight is taking place in? So my question is not really about x-plane, but about Geforce, or any other software that might work.
